Who are we?
Our history
Golf & Business Club Kampenhout was founded in 1989 and currently has more than 700 members. The Club’s surroundings are traditionally a chicory region. The golf course leads past Wilder Castle, originally a medieval court. The current castle, in classicist style, was erected in 1823.
The castle is surrounded by a spacious park with some rare ancient tree species. The old farmhouse along the Wildersedreef with double rows of hundred-year-old Plane trees was transformed into the office, a pro shop, a restaurant, and the necessary premises to provide good accommodation for golfers.
The property on which the 18-hole golf course is located is 65 hectares. The course is laid out in a Park style (English landscape style). The course was designed by Robin De Vooght in 1989.
Team
There are several teams working at the club who strive to make your visit as pleasant as possible. For example, you can contact the office with all your questions about membership, starting to play golf, green fees and all sports activities organised by the club.
The Proshop offers a wide range of clothing, accessories and golf clubs for every golfer. This is therefore the place to get advice on all your materials.
Booking lessons with the golf pros is also organised by the shop.
In the cosy clubhouse The Loft, you can always go for a snack or refreshments. On the large terrace you can enjoy the panoramic view of the 9th and 18th holes.
The team that is perhaps less visible is the team of greenkeepers. They make sure the grounds are kept in fine condition for golfers.

Sport Committee
The sport committee looks after the implementation and organisation of the club’s sports activities and events. Many competitions, both indoor and outdoor, covering all handicap categories, are organised throughout the season. In addition, the sports committee determines the sports policies to be pursued, proposes measures and implements them.
The sport committee is authorised to discuss and solve typical golfing problems. Among the committee members duties is monitoring the starters, managing golf handicaps, and following the Rules and etiquette. They also have a supporting role regarding the course and infrastructure.
The various section managers ensure the integration of the members concerned within their target group and organise competitions and events during the year for both competitive and recreational players.
