Seniors

Welcome to the Seniors section.

Our focus is on both the sporting challenges on the golf course and the ambiance and socialising after a round of golf. We organise competitions for the over-50s every Tuesday:

• There are qualifying competitions for both 18 and 9 holes with occasional non-qualifying competitions.
• ‘Super Tuesday’ fun competition is held every, last Tuesday of the month (18 holes shotgun with changing game formulas).
• There are also extra 9-hole qualifying competitions.

On regular Tuesdays, the prizes are either offered by an external sponsor (listed on BEgolf), who may present their business at the prize-giving ceremony or funded by the Senior budget.

A double award ceremony will take place on Super Tuesday. One for the 3 winning flights of the fun competition and one for the winners with the highest stableford score over the past month in the 4 categories. An extra special prize table will be provided for all winners of Super Tuesdays by our special sponsors.

On Super Tuesdays, the prize-giving will also be followed by a communal dinner in the clubhouse The Loft at a democratic price. This can be registered each time via I-golf and subject to prepayment of the price.

The starters are encouraged to join the qualifying 9-hole competitions and also the fun competitions on Super Tuesdays.

We make a warm appeal to all players to be present at the prize-giving ceremonies and especially all those who stand a chance of being among the winners. This promotes good contacts and club atmosphere among members and motivates sponsors. For those who cannot possibly attend, there is the possibility of being represented.
